Sometimes, employers do not pay their staff correctly. In such situations, it may be necessary to raise a grievance and/or bring an employment tribunal claim to resolve matters.


For example, many employers are still not paying holiday pay correctly. Several important and well publicised court decisions in recent years have confirmed that staff should be paid holiday pay at their ‘normal’ rate of pay i.e to include things like commission and overtime payments.
