Employment mediation can tackle employment disputes early preventing the need for unwanted expense, time and hassle of Court or Employment Tribunal proceedings.
Employment mediation can look at repairing relationships between an employer and employee; and between employees themselves.
Usually over common issues such as employment terms and conditions like pay, contracts, family friendly rights, grievances and disciplinary procedures, unfair and constructive dismissal, whistleblowing, health and safety and discrimination.
If they are dealt with quickly enough, potential employment disputes can be resolved and prevent wasting valuable management time, manpower and resources.
Employment mediation can usually put a stop to employment disputes escalating before it’s too late. UK legislation also encourages the use of mediation in the workplace, highlighting the benefits of mediation.
